How I am perceived:
I am not exactly sure how others perceive me. Some perceive me as a trustworthy person and lay on me all the troubles on their mind. Others perceive me as a snot nosed Know-It-All, which I surely am not. Some don't think either these things of me, but simply perceive the facts: brown hair, beige skin, will crack a joke every so often, tries to study, becomes emotional easily.

My Petunia Plant - 4/15/05
1.) Petunia Plant
2.) Ankle height, about a foot wide in a circularly, branches spread out so that hardly anything grows straight up out of the middle, but grows straight out to the side. Some branches sag halfway down and pull themselves up at the end where flowers, the shape of rounded stars appear. Buds stick out like mini spears all along each branch, making it look like a tangled mass of leafy barbed wire with some fleshy stars at the end.
3.) On a whole, it is much like the color of shade: cool, dark, green (green is the color that our eyes are, scientifically, most apt at picking up). In parts the plant is bright and beautiful, reddish-purple, on the surface, but dark dark and brownish-green on the inside.
4.) It pushes outward and strives to go up but never succeeds.
5.) It makes me think of life and death. Many of the branches are full of budding flowers while some other branches are completely dead.
6.) It sprouted from a tiny little seed that had been planted in a nursery somewhere. It pushed its way above the surface seeking the first breath of life. It continued to push and push until its first leaves. At that point it was content to simply be, but at the same time it kept pushing for beauty. After several months of hard work it obtained its first bud and without realizing grew so many more buds that it was heavy with life.
7.) Around it are other petunia plants, so many that it seems a blur of green and purple, reds, and whites. It supports the caterpillars and allows them to grow into butterflies. It sifts the dirt and soil so that its nutrients are more plentiful.
